COMMUNITY EVENTS
Throughout the year there are a variety of exciting fundraising events that you can be a part of. Whether you are an individual or a business, the support of the surrounding community is essential to making these events successful. Our two main events each year are The Christmas Project, a gift drive for the children we serve, and The Black & White Ball, the annual gala which benefits The Children's Advocacy Center. We look forward to each opportunity we get to join forces with our biggest supporters to meet the needs of children and families throughout our state. Contact kroberts@standforhope.org if you are interested in organizing or volunteering for a community event.
BECOME A CASA
CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to help ensure that each abused or neglected child finds a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. The role of a CASA is to act as an extra pair of eyes and ears for the court system, collecting information through observation and interviews with key people in the child’s life and then reporting back to the judge. SPREAD THE WORD
Keep up to date on the latest news and updates on our social media pages. With every share, every like, every comment— you help spread the message that there is an organization ready and waiting to meet the needs of families in crisis.
