PREVENTION TRAININGS
We believe that education is the first step towards prevention. The Children's Advocacy Center of Northeast Louisiana is proud to offer these free trainings to schools, churches, or other groups in the community on child abuse and human trafficking prevention:
MANDATED REPORTING | Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse
​
This training is designed for all staff and volunteers who work with children in a school, day care, church, medical, camp or extracurricular environment.
60 minute training, including a 15 minute video.

CHILD BODY SAFETY TRAINING | It's Okay to Say "No"
This training helps children learn about personal safety and is designed for children ages 8-13 years old.
30 minute training

HUMAN TRAFFICKING | Human Trafficking 101
This training allows individuals to gain a better understanding of what human trafficking truly looks like in our communities and how to respond if they suspect it is happening. The presenter will discuss common misconceptions, signs to be aware of, identification, and how to report it when presented with a situation.
60 minute training
